![]() (If you're using a desktop environment that runs autostart apps, you'll need to disable ~/.config/autostart/keybase_sktop as described in that file, and you'll probably also need to mkdir the mount point you choose.)Īpologies for not having an easy environment variable you can set to make this happen. If you copy that script and change both of those paths to something like $HOME/keybase, and run your custom script for startup instead of the global one, you should both be able to run at the same time. If you take a look at the /usr/bin/run_keybase script, you'll see two places where we use the path /keybase, once as an argument to fusermount -u and once as an argument to kbfsfuse. If you want to do some custom scripting, it's possible for you both to use Keybase as long as you don't use the same mount point. Does fusermount -u /keybase also not work? (Other than of course by running commands as that user.) I'm surprised that sudo umount /keybase doesn't work for you though. ![]() I think it's expected that root shouldn't be able to read another user's files in /keybase. I'm not sure how the 90 seconds effect came about, but in general I think your issues are expected when one user accesses another user's FUSE mount. Compare this to Google, which used 5.7 TWh globally, in 2015.We don't have much support for multiple users accessing /keybase right now. (For a little context, Bitcoin uses at least 22 terawatt-hours (TWh) of energy annually-almost the same as the entire country of Ireland. Plus, transactions cost a fraction of a cent, are very fast, and don’t consume massive amounts of energy. Unlike most others, Stellar supports global transactions and automatically converts Lumens into whatever currency you prefer. And two is that we think Stellar is actually a great decentralized, open-source, multi-currency network. One is that Keybase is funded by the Stellar Development Foundation. To do so, you’ll need your Stellar address and secret key. You can also exchange Lumens into other currencies outside of Keybase. If your recipient has a trustline for other currencies, Keybase will let you know that this person accepts funds other than Lumens.
